Here’s My Top 5 Fall and Winter Haircare Picks

You’ve taken your sweaters, coats, and blazers out to get ready for fall.
PSLs have been a staple diet now and your #hotgirlsummer bikini bod is quickly transforming for hibernation.
The Leaves are Changing…So Should Your Fall and Winter Haircare Routine.

But why, you ask?
Colder weather, unfortunately, comes with changes to our skin and hair. Your hair has it rough as it’s blasted with dry indoor heat and then attacked with dry wind and soon, snow as well.
The key word either way is, your hair is getting dry.
My arsenal of winter haircare is filled with products and tools that help retain moisture and is still gentle to my hair. Here are some of the favorites that I’ll be using all of fall and winter!
Shampoo/Conditioner: r+co Perfect Television Shampoo & Conditioner*
This shampoo and conditioner set is like squeezing an entire hair mask bottle on your hair – it’s transformational!! While it’s a little too intense during the summer for fine hair, it’s great for fall and winter.
Despite being sulfate-free, the shampoo has a good lather and leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean as well. Highly recommend this gentle set!
Spray: evaNYC dry conditioner
Changing weather doesn’t change everything – I still use dry shampoo from time to time (or every time, amiright). But aerosols leave my hair feeling stiff and dry, which can even more damaging during the fall and winter time. To combat breakage, I use dry conditioner after spraying dry shampoo on my hair.
I’ve been absolutely LOVING evaNYC’s dry conditioner; it’s a product I never knew I needed and now can’t live without. It leaves hair nourished and soft without weighing it down.
Tools: evaNYC Healthy Heat Nano Silk Styling Iron*
Can you tell how much I love evaNYC products? This one surprised me. I honestly thought all hair straighteners were created equal until I saw this baby.
The gentle nano silk plates were specifically made for thin and fine hair. The far infrared heat is gentle to use even on towel-dried hair when I’m running late in the morning (does cold weather also make you want to stay in bed longer??) and its low-temperature range is perfect for my synthetic wigs and toppers as well.
Plus it’s such a good deal ($70) for a really high quality straightener!!
Treatment: Brigeo Tea Tree and Scalp Treatment
Does anyone else get dandruff when it starts getting colder? Those pesky snowflakes (the ones you don’t want to take selfies with) is your scalp calling SOS and telling you that it’s in distress!
I treat my dry scalp with the Brigeo Tea Tree and Scalp Treatment a few times a week by putting a full droplet all over my head and massaging it in. It helps rebalance my skin and helps my scalp from flaking!
On-the-Go: evaNYC towelettes*

Do you know what’s annoying? Putting all of your wooly sweaters, coats, and scarves on to go outside and then looking like you just got electrocuted when coming back inside and taking it all off. The static I bring could power an entire room I tell ya.
These individually packaged towelettes are a godsend that I keep in my purse at all times to quickly pat down on my hair and eliminate the static, stat!
It’s a cool concept that I haven’t seen before but is handy to have around. I use it both on my natural hair and my hair pieces too!
Fall and wintertime shouldn’t sacrifice your hair game and I’m here for the cute beanies and boots.
I know I’ll be having great hair days, so take my picture next to the pumpkins and reindeer, please!
